Location: Pune

Who are we looking for?

A mid-level Java support engineer for handling Batch Job monitoring activity & capable of writing python scripts for a critical project for one of our biggest clients in banking & capital market domain. The Individual should be passionate about technology, experienced in managing cutting edge technology applications.

Technical Skills:

? Good Knowledge Linux commands

? Experience in writing python scripts and Cron jobs schedule

? Good technical knowledge on batch job management to understand the scripts

? Should have good knowledge of Oracle SQL queries & ability to write SQL queries independently

? Should be able to perform 1 st level triage related issues, memory issues, performance issues

? Knowledge of Application support a plus

Process Skills:

? Capable of handling batch job monitoring and ticket creation, reporting tasks.

? Should be able to perform Unix system level troubleshooting's.

? Develop automations using python scripting technologies

? Ability to independently write / update oracle SQL queries as per requirements.

? Should be open to work in 24x7 work environments.

Behavioral Skills :

? Resolve technical issues of projects and explore alternate designs

? Participates as a team member and fosters teamwork by inter-group coordination within the modules of the project.

? Effectively collaborates and communicates with the stakeholders and ensure client satisfaction

? Train and coach members of project groups to ensure effective knowledge management activity.

? Python certification
