The Role Responsibilities

Job Role

  • Work with technology and business teams to validate the quality of the product delivered to the stakeholders as per group standards. Mitigate risks and support Business through timely and precise execution of test methods and standards.
  • Develop testing strategies and framework to meet the testing mandate.
  • Prepare the Automation Test Strategy and roadmap for the area.
  • Handle the test deliveries for projects which are multiyear programmes.
  • Support in requirements, design specifications, application architecture and product documentation.
Strategy
  • Work with systems development teams to validate the quality of the product delivered to the stakeholders as per group standards. Mitigate risks to Business through timely and precise execution of test scripts under moderate supervision.
Business
  • Perform functional and technical test execution activities (automated tests, where applicable) as per engagement level in the project.
  • Constant communication and follow-ups with various stake holders during Test planning and execution phases where applicable.
  • Identify issues in requirements, design specifications, application architecture and product documentation.
  • Understand the bank\xe2\x80\x99s automation framework and drive the implementation of the same within the team.
  • Develop Test specifications based on various requirement documents within schedule constraints.
  • Set up necessary monitoring / profiling tools to identify and isolate performance bottlenecks.
  • Support business in case of any emergency during week-end or demand.
  • Log software product defects and track it to closure.
  • Contribute to accurately estimate work requirements.
  • Define and execute the Automation Test strategy.
  • Develop test Bed and verify test Environments.
  • Report status promptly to the test manager.

  • Adhere to the SCB process and guidelines.

  • Work along with the various technology and business stakeholders to drive the test deliverables as per the project timelines.

  • SDF guidelines should be strictly followed to ensure compliance status is met.

  • Effectively and collaboratively identify, escalate, mitigate and resolve risk, conduct and compliance matters.
  • Exercise authorities delegated by the Board of Directors and act in accordance with Articles of Association.

  • Basic or Advanced Training on Test Management and Test Process
  • Basic Training formal or hands-on on Java / Selenium / Python
