The Role Responsibilities

Strategy

  • Prior experience in working in 24X7 support model.
  • Prior PSS working experience.
  • Well versed with technologies to understand our banking system.
  • Strong technical skills to investigate root cause and to be a part of faster resumption.
  • Hands on Web-methods / Oracle / Database / MQ and Linux / Unix.
  • Knowledge and experience handling Major Incidents.
Business
  • Work with highly technical staff supporting SCB production systems across multiple applications of Bank.
  • Ensure a consistent method of incident management is followed, including classification, escalation paths and communication protocols.
  • Partner with key teams across the organization to identify and track key metrics ensuring the early detection of system related issues.
  • Drive complicated system related issues to resolution across multiple services and groups with little or no supervision following CnC React function guidelines.
  • Contribute to the Blameless RCA / retrospect function for all client impacting incidents ensuring 360-degree retrospection by enabling early detection, automation opportunity and permanent fix measures.
Risk Management
  • Basic understanding of LAN, WAN and Firewall

  • Effectively and collaboratively identify, escalate, mitigate and resolve risk, conduct and compliance matters.

Our Ideal Candidate
  • 10 - 14 Years of IT experience. with payments domain specific knowledge is desirable.
Willing to come in shifts as per the CnC shift rota and support CnC 24X7 support model including night and weekend support.
Hands on Production support experience with at least 6 - 8 years managing Cash, Payments and Clearing.
Very good knowledge in 4 or more technologies covering overall application architecture such as in Java, J2EE, Oracle, WaaS, MQ and Unix technologies.
Hands-on knowledge on Monitoring tools such as ITRS, Graphana, Splunk, AppDynamics, etc in order to self-initiate monitoring refinements.
Strong technical / development background and proven ability to dig into technical details and manage the triage.
Strong communication, collaboration and team building skills with proficiency at grasping new technical concepts quickly and utilise the same in a productive manner.
