The Opportunity / What we\xe2\x80\x99re looking for:

As a Talent Sourcing Specialist, you will join the Global Talent Acquisition team, and have direct responsibility for enhancing Ciena\xe2\x80\x99s ability to attract and engage the best talent across all geographies where Ciena operates.

You will use prospecting techniques and tools for information retrieval, data extraction, web-scraping and be responsible for continuous process improvement, process automation, and stakeholder management.

The role / What you will do at Ciena:

• Work closely with the Global TA team, to deliver best in market passive candidates.
• Partner with recruiters and hiring leaders to strategically develop custom research, target lists and sourcing strategies for current and future open opportunities.
• Take ownership of proactive project pipelines against personas, competitor mapping & campaigns
• Be an advocate of Phenom CRM and partner with recruiters to grow the pipelines
• Focus on building relationships with business and present data relevant to labor market, challenges etc.
• Partner with recruitment marketing for nurture and competitor campaigns
• Utilize of social media as a candidate generation tool
• Continually generate new/creative sourcing techniques.

• Ability to prioritize multiple functions and tasks, manage time efficiently in a fast paced, changing work environment.
• Flexibility to support different functional areas in response to talent pipelines and business requirements.

• Proficient in complex Boolean and Deep Web searching techniques
• Up to date with current and future recruitment market trends and tools

Required Experience:

• Solid Recruiting/ Sourcing background
• Good understanding of global recruitment process
• Previous experience working in corporate/technology (or similar) environment would be an advantage.
• Previous experience in international recruiting/ sourcing in geographies such as Asia-Pacific or North America
• Degree level education
