Responsibilities

Global Technology Services (GTS) department supports all the IT infrastructures of Societe Generale Group and its subsidiaries (Credit du Nord, Franfinance, etc.) in France and abroad. Its mission is to provide to the Group's businesses lines reliable IT services by providing offers, services levels and optimized costs that meet the needs of the internal clients; such as hosting business applications, workstations, collaborative services, network and telephony.

Digital Workplace Services under GTS is responsible for defining, steering and executing orientations taken on "Workplace 2021-25". DWS is in charge of delivering and operating users solutions (Telephony, workstation, bots, other communication solutions, etc.). It is also responsible for managing technical infrastructures associated with users' workplace: technical directories, file services, etc.

Shared Virtualization Services(SVS) under DWS/DVS provides an effective means to securely access Published desktops, published applications and VDI's hosted in the Datacenter. At SVS, we are commited to provide our users with solutions to access their apps and data from any location on any computer.

• Participate in Incident, Request, and Change management processes.

• Sys Engineer need to monitor the infra proactively and fix it even before user's report it.

• Daily health checks on the Citrix environment to ensure service availability

• Administration of XenApp 6.5 and above

• Support Virtual Desktop Infrastructure hosted on XenDesktop

• Maintain Citrix XenApp, VDIs and other core Citrix Components

• Administration of Ivanti User Workspace Manager.

• Application installation, publication in CITRIX environnent

• Act on alerts received through SCOM, Edgesight, Qlik, Citrix Director or other monitoring tools.

• Basic Troubleshooting of Windows Server 2008 and 2016

• Internal escalation for troubleshooting XenApp, XenDesktop services

• Administer XenApp servers; Publishing applications, troubleshooting user connection issues, maintaining and updating existing applications

• Engineer should have minimum knowledge in scripting and should be able to automate reoccurring manual tasks

• Escalate the issues to next level for Critical issues/outage/complex tasks and follow the closure of the issue.

Profile required

Systems Engineer is responsible for first level management of Citrix XenApp, XenDesktop, Ivanti User Workspace Manager, Windows Server, Incident tickets, SCOM alerts, Queue Monitoring and Infra alerts. Prepare daily/weekly/monthly reports and share with the relevant stakeholders. Engineer should be able to Perform and manage routine maintenance tasks for the Citrix services in accordance with Citrix best practice. Engineer should have minimum knowledge in scripting and should be able to automate reoccurring manual tasks.
