How you will contribute You will use your in-depth process and service knowledge in your area of expertise to ensure that service level agreements and obligations are met. As a co-owner of the development of standard operating procedures, you will drive standardization and simplification of processes. In addition, you will provide input for training materials, ensure that standard operating procedures and data protection activities comply with Mondel z International policies and the law, analyze and report on exceptions and offer recommendations for process improvements, and lead the sustainable continuous improvement process for the team. S Job specific requirements: 1. Payroll & Taxation Administration and processing for plants / executives & temp employees - processing payroll for SFCs in line with CLA agreements / Executives & Temp Employees (Retainers & Apprentice) for all Plant locations & Sales Branches Input Preparation, upload, check & closure of payroll with 100% accuracy CTC audit payroll vs WD records Salary Advance management for SFCs (manually & via mobile application) Taxation management for SFCs in volume for 4 plants Working closely with respective stakeholders to ensure timely payroll closure and understanding their requirements as a part of shaping employee experience Audit / check & raise queries in case of payroll inputs which is not in line with CLA LTS & VRS payroll processing with 100% accuracy. This can also include backdated arrear payment processing 2. Statutory Compliance & Audit representation - Represent payroll in audits as & when required at plants Provide / maintain data for filing maternity bonus return Provide / maintain data for filing Integrated return End to end leave administration and audit in payroll portal in coordination with payroll vendor and employees Maintain quarterly leave records for White & Blue collared employees for audit data purpose of Tower Watson. Responsible for observation closure raised at the time of audit Data preparation pertaining to any other audits as & when required (e.g. ESIC, PF etc) 3. Attendance System - Working towards integration of attendance system and Payroll system as a scope of CI for all plants 4. Grievance Redressal pertaining to payroll Handle and resolve grievance related to Payroll on timely basis 5. HR MIS Reporting - Update salary summary file PY 05 Update & track payroll calendar on monthly basis Update & check payroll variance files as a part of SOX audit controls Update & track EC reimbursements vs payouts in payroll as a part of PY 07 Update & track CTC update in payroll vs WD as a part of PY11 Other HRIS / MIS reporting as & when required Ensuring Master data & Leave datasubmissions for Actuarial Valuation for leaves and gratuity reporting 6. Continuous improvement / Kaizen WRT payroll processes - Idea generation towards continuous process improvement Automation & digitization WRT SFCs payroll & taxation Working closely with payroll vendor & respective stakeholders to work towards CI & Kaizen which is not restricted only to plants for which scope and thought in wider perspective 7. Resolving & closing queries on regular basis via Employee center ticketing system - Working on Employee center tickets on regular basis Ensuring timely closure of tickets and meeting SLAs Quality board reporting on timely basis Maintaining 100% accuracy in reimbursement processing in line with organization policies 8. Vendor Management - Work closely with payroll vendor & ensure timelines & deliverables according to payroll calendar is met Ensure getting work done & closed on timely basis 9. Finance & Accounting - Monthly Salary Accounting entries checking & Payroll statutory reports checking with SAP reports Handle manual payment processing & approvals to ensure timely payouts along with required SAP accounting entries Ensure availability of funds in coordination with treasury team Work closely with all finance stakeholders related to payroll & ensure timely closure of activities Resolution to observations from all the finance locations raised related to payroll & F&F settlements Additional Skills: Payroll & Taxation Administration and processing for plants / executives & temp employees Statutory compliance & Audit representation Smooth functioning of attendance system Grievance Redressal pertaining to payroll HR MIS reporting Continuous improvement / Kaizen WRT payroll processes not limited to plants Resolving & closing queries on regular basis via Employee center ticketing system Vendor Management Finance & Accounting Travel requirements: This role also includes travel to plant sites as and when required. Candidate applying should be mobile to travel at plant sites for period / days can be decided as & when situation demands.
