Job Description

DESCRIPTIONQuality Services (QS) org provides testing support for Devices, Retail and AWS products. The primary objective of QS org is to provide manual testing support, which includes regression and new feature/product testing. A Specialist, Quality Services gains domain expertize to influence and impact regression test coverage across one or more components or features of a product. They guide team members and actively involved in preparing knowledge management document.
*Roles and Responsibilities:*
\xc2\xb7 Test and act as a point of contact for one or more components or features.
\xc2\xb7 Reviews the test cases for assigned components and ensures test cases are maintained without any ambiguity and recommend any missing test coverage.
\xc2\xb7 Ensures all clarifications filed by the team are addressed internally and appropriate bugs are filed for their area of scope
\xc2\xb7 Represents team\'s bugs in triage meetings. Gives complete context and details as required.
\xc2\xb7 Performs root cause analysis and provides data to the managers for issues/escalations on their area of scope.
\xc2\xb7 Performs training and knowledge management within the team that helps associates to understand the product.
\xc2\xb7 Assess SOPs followed and recommend improvements partnering with stakeholders and team members to build useful solutions.
Note: This job will involve rotational shift. The shift time can vary based on business requirement.We are open to hiring candidates to work out of one of the following locations:Bangalore, KA, INDBASIC QUALIFICATIONS\xc2\xb7 1-3 year of equivalent product testing experience
\xc2\xb7 Working knowledge of the Software Testing Lifecycle (STLC)
\xc2\xb7 Should have good communication and influencing skills
\xc2\xb7 Should be able to work in the absence of preset work instructions and be instrumental in setting up the documentation around the same.
\xc2\xb7 Be a team player, coordinate with team members and proactively identify issues impacting productivity and quality.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS\xc2\xb7 Device testing knowledge including hardware testing
