Job Description


Communications Role (Responsibilities)

  • Draft written communication defining business objective with details specific to the affected audience
  • Manage revisions and edits from stakeholders
  • Review, test, and validate all hyperlinks, perform general QA of language for all draft communications
  • Review email address lists of external clients pulled from Engage with internal stakeholders for targeted communications
  • Record request from internal stakeholders on tracker, assigning a project request# and ownership within the communication team
  • Track and store and communication approvals including business owner, SME, 24, Legal and or Compliance for all lines of business
  • Convert communications to proper layout for distribution (change from word to pdf) and upload to 3rd party marketing & communication tool
  • Upload and sync excel email lists for targeted emails and the 3 Pershing Newsletters weekly
  • Set up and send test emails for each communication type
  • Research questions from internal stakeholders concerning # of click throughs and kicked back emails
  • Manage internal "seed" lists to ensure Pershing employees receive a copy of the newsletters
Requirements :
  • 5 to 7 years of work experience; experience in financial services and/or project management is preferred
  • Experience in Technical communications is mandatory; experience in Fintech industries is preferred.
  • Education requirement: bachelor’s degree. Master’s in marketing and communications is a plus
  • Concise and persuasive oral and written communications skills
  • Highly responsive to time-sensitive requests with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Ability to work with sensitive or confidential analysis/information
  • Demonstrate strong initiative and follow through, the ability to interact and communicate well with employees at all levels, and the ability to manage multiple projects and shifting deadlines
  • Mastery of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access PowerPoint)
  • SharePoint/HTML Skills required
