Communication Specialist

Position: Communications Specialist

:

- We are seeking a talented Communication Specialist cum multimedia designer for the Communications Office.

- The candidate will be working closely with The admissions, Marketing and Communications Office to design and produce high-end visual, textual, and animated content for our website/social media channels/events.

- This hybrid role includes video editing as well as contributing to social media platforms and engaging our audiences on our web platforms.

Must possess advanced knowledge and skills in the following software packages:

- InDesign

- Illustrator

- Photoshop

- Premier Pro

- After Effects

Responsibilities:

- Lead and execute website platform content + changes

- Collaboratively design digital marketing campaigns

- Maintain and enforce editorial and branding style guidelines

- Shoot & edit a range of different social-first videos

- Contributing to the institutions web/content / social media strategy

- Taking our editorial video to the next level, by continually developing and improving the quality of our videos

Skills:

- With three years' experience as a graphic designer/multimedia editor

- Understanding of marketing, production, website design, corporate identity, product packaging, advertisements, and multimedia design

- Ability to collaborate on long-term projects

- Excellent knowledge of storyboarding, and visual design principals

- Knowledge of web publishing software

- Managing timelines and capacities, coordinating with team members across verticals

- In-depth understanding of social media, particularly Instagram and LinkedIn

- Excellent communication and organisational skills

- Strong understanding of social media
