About the department

Global IT India was established in February 2010 as an integral part of Global IT in HQ. From the beginning in 2010, the unit has grown to 500+ employees till date. The main role of Global IT India is to 'manage' IT, which includes System Management, Project Management, Infrastructure Management, Compliance Management, Security Management, Process Management and Vendor Management.

The position

The position holder will be working as Senior Technical Expert for entire Veeva Vault platform for Novo Nordisk (soon to be 15+ Vaults in production). You will be end to end responsible for strong cross-applications technical expertise to ensure all applications in the platform follow and implement same level of technical solution. The expectation is to solve any highly complex (level 3) technical problem and configuration without any external help (e.g. vendor).

The key responsibilities include:

The Key responsibility includes but not limited to:

  • Enterprise level Architecture maintenance for Veeva Vault.
  • Extremely proficient for most of the domains and application-level configuration for most of the available vaults e.g. QualityDocs, eTMF, Promomats, Medcomms, Submissions etc.
  • Manage and assess technical configurations for all Veeva Vaults in organizational level, (cross EVP area technical expert) for 8-10+ Vaults.
  • Ensure all technical integrations/interface with other applications (like SAP, AD, OAM etc) are working as intended.
  • Technical expertise to manage API integrations to Veeva Platform or any specific vault.
  • Expertise in Web service-based interface design, development and maintenance (including change implementation).
Qualifications:
  • MSC, MBA, BE or similar graduate degree in relevant field (Software Engineering, Economics, Computer Science, Business Administration)
  • In-depth knowledge of ITIL, Incident, Problem and Change Management processes.
  • Sound and hands-on knowledge on Veeva Vault technology with good knowledge in configuration and technical configurations.
  • Experience from working in a large project in cross geographical domain.
  • Experience in hands-on technical implementation of multiple Vault level configurations.
  • 7-9 years of IT experience covering specification, design, development or implementation of IT solutions.
  • Experience in Java, J2EE and related technologies is preferred.
  • Experience within the pharmaceutical or other relevant industry is preferred.
  • Experience from working in service level-based organizations and managing service level agreements with customers and vendors with strong stakeholder management
  • Experienced in the use of office desktop applications and tools (e.g., Microsoft Office).
  • Experience in vendor management.
