: Task portfolio . Support of the system simulation department within the Division E \'Electrified Powertrain Technology\' . Preparation of complex eDrive (e.g. BEV) and Hybrid-Transmission (e.g. PHEV) 1D-models with in-house and commercial tools with FMU interface describing the system behaviour . Preparation of reduced order models with regards to different physical disciplines building up a \'digital twin\' . Perform static and dynamic analysis of complex powertrain systems (e-motor, power electronics, cooling, ) . Execution of coupled calculations for eDrive parts (e.g. electric/thermal/mechanic) and analysis of the results . Robust System Optimization of the products with respect to efficiency, lifetime to save costs . Verification / Validation of the simulation models based on measured data . Development of automation programs, (integration of AI preferred), defining processes and standards . Implementation of proposals concerning material properties, component optimization with regards to technical and economic aspects . Due to technology-driven interactions it might be necessary to perform simulations in related areas (1D-Thermo-dynamic, electro-magnetic, Efficiency) Requirement . Senior or Technical Engineer 5-8 year\'s experience . Education: Master of Mechanical / Electrical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Physics . Practical application experience with the following simulation software tools: MatLab/SimuLink and Dymola(Modellica), AmeSim, Python, (Optislang, Heeds or similar) . Willingness to learn and use additional ZF in-house tools (e.g. GENIA) . Experience in Automotive Industry as well as in the analysis of passenger car power train components . Practical Experience in priority 1: 1D system calculations, (RDO) optimization methods and in priority 2: Electrodynamics, Thermodynamics, Structural Mechanics, MBS, Efficiency .
