About the Role

• Validate the balance in each general ledger account. Update the SAP assignment field every week for analysis purposes.
• Ensure that all financial transactions have been properly accounted for and in the correct general ledger account.
• All analyses should have detailed information of the type of cost, expected to be released from the balance sheet and the follow-up dates from the team member.
• Perform Account analyses and submitted to the GL team, Experience in dealing with deadlines.
• Preparing and posting different types of journal entries (Accruals and provisions) into the SAP system and email confirmation with document number to the sender.
• Upload support into SAP for non-reversing journal entries.

Role Responsibilities

• Good communication skills;
• The ideal candidate should be a Commerce graduate with excellent Accounting / Finance knowledge; and
• ERP system experience is required; SAP is strongly preferred but not required.
• Candidate should be well versed with Excel/google sheet
• Experience in Finance Shared Services for a Global Company a strong plus
• Detail-oriented
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

Experience, Skills & Qualifications:

• Accounting degree with a minimum of 4 years of experience as an accountant or in a specific process
• A good knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and you can apply them correctly.
• Education - B.Com / M.Com/ MBA
