Export Documentation Specialist - Chemtech Platform

Job Profile :
- Team Building

- Hire smart, enthusiastic & young individuals to handle exports documentation

Leading Export Operations :

- Spearhead discussions with CHA, FF for BoE & SB filling & clearance approval, delivery orders, IGM details

- Negotiate contracts with various logistics providers for transport from plant to port & warehouse delivery; both internationally & in India

- Liaison with custom officials for relevant documentation & paperwork; with warehouse team for loading/unloading; with banks & insurance agencies

- Liaison with DGFT offices & ensure statutory compliance as per Company Act, Customs Act, Foreign Trade Policy & other government/port/trade regulations

- Strategy Building & Intelligence

- Stay abreast with global ocean freight rates, sector-wise shipping lines & container availability scenario

- Stay abreast of Free trade Agreements (FTAs), Duty Drawback Schemes, & insurance rules

- Well versed with various schemes - Advance Authorization, EPCG, MEIS, FPS, FMS, RoDTEP etc.

- Understand the regulatory landscape for transportation of DG, ISO tanks etc.

Documentation :

- Prepare Pre-Shipment & Post-Shipment documents like Invoice, Packing List, Shipping details, Certificate of Origin & related documents, L/C documents, Airway Bill and/or Bill of Lading, Form 6, Form 9, Form 13, Self-Declaration etc.

- Create quotations for various incoterms including FOB, CIF, DDP etc.

Requirements :

- 3-8 years of experience in export documentation & export operations

- Should have experience in logistics & freight forwarder negotiations

- Should have an excellent verbal/oral communication & presentation skills

- Working experience in the chemical field will be preferred

- Working experience with a merchant exporter is a plus

- Should have an ability to work in high-energy, fast-paced cross-functional teams

- Should have an entrepreneurial bent of mind, strong business acumen, good network, can commit and take ownership; should have high EQ
