We are now seeking a highly motivated and results driven individual to join our Cash Application function as Specialist. Your Focus As a Specialist based out of our Finance Shared Service Center in Hyderabad, India, you will be responsible to perform and coordinate all cash related activities. The role reports to Team Leader. How you will contribute . Download Bank Statements from Bank Website (as when and required). . Reconcile whether all the feeds have been received to SAP or not. . Daily Cash Application as per the remittances received. . Work on research and on account items. . Maintain and clear the Suspense account. . Update comments for open items in Blackline (related to customer accounts). . Small balance write offs. . Process refund requests for Double/Over/Incorrect payments from customers. . Periodic updates of SOP. . Work closely with AP/GL and Onshore Team to resolve the customer queries. . Understand upstream and downstream processes and impact. . Knowledge on month end activities and to be proactive in highlighting any issues. . Mentor team members and resolve their queries. . Co-ordinate with upstream and downstream processes in case of any issues. Job Requirements What you will need to be successful . Bachelor\'s degree in Accounting/Finance, MBA or any other relevant discipline. . Atleast 3 to 5 years of experience in Cash Application supporting NA or EMEA Clients. . Sound knowledge in SAP. . Good working knowledge in MS Office applications (Excel, Powerpoint). . Knowledge in Auto application tool. . Working knowledge on Auto Bank rule setups for Auto Cash Application. . Excellent verbal and written communication skills. . Flexible to work in any shift hours as assigned. . Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. . Ability to work under pressure. . Meticulous, high reliable and motivated team player. . Proactive and willing to engage with colleagues to resolves issues. . Ability to work independently to resolve complex process/system issues in a team environment multitask and adapt to a changing environment. .
