We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Commi III with a strong interest and basic experience in South Indian Cook. The ideal candidate will assist in the preparation and cooking of traditional South Indian dishes under the guidance of senior chefs while maintaining high standards of hygiene and kitchen practices.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the preparation and cooking of South Indian dishes such as Idli, Dosa, Vada, Sambar, Rasam, Upma, Pongal, and chutneys.
Support the senior chefs in daily kitchen operations.
Follow recipes and presentation specifications as directed.
Prepare ingredients for cooking including portioning, chopping, and storing food.
Ensure all food and other items are stored properly and comply with hygiene regulations.
Maintain cleanliness and order in the kitchen at all times.
Work as part of a team to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
Receive and store food supplies as per standards.
Label and date all food items appropriately.
Follow all safety and sanitation policies when handling food and beverage.
Requirements:
Basic knowledge of South Indian cuisine.
Prior experience or training in a commercial kitchen is preferred.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Flexibility to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays.
Food handling and hygiene certification is a plus.
