Job Description

We are looking for a skilled and experienced South Indian Cook to join our culinary team. The candidate will be responsible for preparing authentic South Indian dishes, ensuring taste, quality, hygiene, and consistency in food preparation.

Key Responsibilities:



Prepare and cook a wide variety of South Indian dishes including idli, dosa, vada, upma, pongal, sambar, rasam, curries, chutneys, and rice varieties. Maintain the authenticity of flavors and recipes in line with traditional South Indian cuisine. Ensure proper handling and storage of ingredients, maintaining hygiene and food safety standards. Monitor food preparation to ensure timely service during breakfast, lunch, and dinner operations. Manage portion control and minimize wastage. Assist in menu planning and introduce seasonal or specialty South Indian dishes. Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area at all times. Supervise and train junior kitchen staff as needed.

Requirements:



Proven experience as a South Indian Cook in hotels, restaurants, or catering establishments. Strong knowledge of South Indian culinary techniques and recipes. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Good understanding of food safety and hygiene practices. Team player with good time management skills. Flexibility to work in shifts, including early mornings for breakfast preparation.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹22,000.00 per month
