Job Overview

We are looking for a skilled SOUTH INDIAN CHEF for one of our leading clients in Kuala Lumpur Malaysia. As a SOUTH INDIAN CHEF, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking authentic South Indian dishes. This is a full-time position with an employment type of \'Full-Time\'. The ideal candidate should have 4 to 6 years of experience in South Indian cuisine.

Qualifications and Skills

• Proven experience as a South Indian Chef
• Knowledge of South Indian cooking techniques and ingredients
• Ability to create and modify recipes
• Strong culinary management skills
• Experience in restaurant management
• Understanding of the food industry trends and customer preferences
• Knowledge of Kerala cuisine is a plus
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Attention to detail and creativity

• Prepare and cook delicious and authentic South Indian dishes
• Create new recipes and develop innovative dishes
• Ensure consistent quality and taste of the prepared dishes
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
• Coordinate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation
• Monitor inventory and order supplies as needed
• Adhere to all food safety and hygiene standards
• Train and supervise kitchen assistants and apprentices
• Collaborate with the management team to plan menus and daily specials
• Handle customer inquiries and special requests
