: Solutions Architect Role Details Position: Solutions Architect Location: Bangalore/Remote About SCRUT Automation Scrut Automation is a one-stop shop for infosec compliance. It supports IT/ITES/SaaS companies in automating their information security compliance tasks and reduces manual work in maintaining compliance by ~70%. Our platform provides the fastest solution for achieving and maintaining compliance across global standards, including but not limited to SOC 2, ISO 27001, GDPR, HIPAA, PCI-DSS, or CCPA, through its truly \'single window operations.Scrut acts like an organisation\'s virtual CISO, so they can focus on their business and leave compliance to Scrut. Founded by IIT/ISB/McKinsey alumni, the founding team has over 15 years of combined Infosec experience. Scrut is backed by Lightspeed Ventures and Endiya Partners, along with prominent angels from the global SaaS community Responsibilities

• Align to industry & market trends impacting business to continue to include new functionalities
• Responsible for assisting in the establishment of an IT Architecture practice, and the adoption of architecture and standards methodology.
• Manages activities that take place during solution ideation, solution design, and solution implementation.
• Reviews business context for solutions to company challenges as well as defines the vision and requirements for the solution, recommending potential options, selecting the most optimal option, and developing a roadmap for the selected solution.
• Communicates the architecture to the stakeholders and collaborates and coordinates with existing domain architects in the formalization and adoption of IT standards and procedures.
• Directly assists in the development of a solutions architecture program including departmental roadmaps and project portfolios for IT systems architecture.
• Assures solutions not only are a fit for the specific purpose but also closely align with the standards and guidelines of technology solutions. Influences changes to standards when necessary.
• Assists domain architecture team with solutions management and timing of financial spending for application solutions.
• Supports the architectural aspects of all application projects in peer IT portfolios.
• Directs the identification and recommendation of appropriate solutions, upgrades, replacements, or decommissioning options incorporating business and technology productivity, usability, and total cost of ownership.

• Proven work experience as a Solution Architect or similar role
• Hands-on experience in any of the Cloud (AWS/Azure/GCP)
• Excellent oral and written communication
• Analytical and problem-solving skills
• High attention to detail regarding accounting skills
• Broad understanding of information technology topics
• Effective interpersonal skills and collaborative management style including teamwork and team-building ability
• Flexible in a fast-paced dynamic environment with shifting roles and responsibilities
• Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent education
• Minimum of 1 \xe2\x80\x93 3 years of experience related to IT Management or other information technology solutions architecture role
• Proficiency with information technologies in a secure network environment
