Job Description

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide project management for company's web-based platform agile development team.
• Research, design, implement and manage the system architecture for the delivery of powerful back-end services and dynamic UX content.
• Implement and manage CI/CD tools and processes to ensure swift but robust delivery pipelines.
• Implement and manage comprehensive monitoring and alerting systems to ensure an optimum end user experience.
• Manage a diverse range of Microsoft Azure services and resources in several areas including IoT, Real Time Processing and Kubernetes.
• Working with other team members, develop database structures and microservice architectures to effectively deliver a fast and reliable service.
• Secure and maintain infrastructure and services to prevent security breaches, patch vulnerabilities, maintain service availability and to remain compliant with all relevant legislation, certification, and best practice.
• Monitor, Review and Optimize Microsoft Azure service usage to reduce costs and increase reliability, speed, and resilience.
• Debug, diagnose and resolve issues identified internally and by Customers.
• Follow emerging technologies
• Liaise with team members to identify and implement new features and technologies that will provide significant product enhancements and cutting-edge features.

• Evidence of organizational and analytical skills with an ability to research/investigate issues, analyze and consider wider implications, and then to compile reports and/or present recommendations

• Agile project management experience.
• Working knowledge of CI/CD processes and tools.
• Proficiency with a modern server-side programming language, such as Java, NodeJS, Go or Python.
• Proficiency with NoSQL, SQL, and Time Series Databases.
• Experienced with Kubernetes Microservice Application deployment.
• Experience with Microsoft Azure.
• Experience with monitoring tools such as Prometheus and the Elastic Stack.
• Experience with Jira and BitBucket.
• Knowledge of web security principles, Data Protection Act and GDPR.
• Knowledge of working in an ISO27001 and Cyber Essentials compliant environment.
• Successful candidate will be required to undergo a security vetting process
• A willingness and ability to undertake UK and overseas travel
