About IM Function

Information Management (IM) function develops and manages leading ICT services globally in W\xc3\xa4rtsil\xc3\xa4 respecting the differences in the businesses to ensure that W\xc3\xa4rtsil\xc3\xa4 gets strategic value from the use of technology and information.

What will you be doing:

Lead software engineer Salesforce

Technical Responsibilities:

• Develop, customize and support Salesforce apps and solutions as per business needs
• Convert Business Requirements to Technical Deliveries
• Participate and/or drive projects/initiatives on Salesforce
• Technical Solution Designs applying best practices
• Analytics, Reports and Dashboards
• Develop and Support integrations by understanding the Wartsila architecture
• Operational/Admin support

Functional Responsibilities:

• Should know and able to support all Clouds
• Advise effective functional solutions
• Problem Management.

Technical Skills:

• Experience with Salesforce solutions and clouds (Sales, Services, Marketing, Analytics etc)

• Customizing and developing the applications as per requirements.

• Expertise in Lightning Web Components

• Understanding of DevOps tools and Agile way of working

• VF pages, Apex Classes, Test Classes and Triggers, S-control, SOQL and SOSL, JavaScript

• Workflows, Approval processes

• Email Services, Batch Processing, Apex Scheduler.

• Experience in designing user interfaces in Salesforce

• Salesforce Sharing and Security model, Salesforce Governor Limits, Order of Execution, Best Practices

• Profiles, Roles, Users, Record Types, Page Layouts, Email Services, Custom Setting, Reports, Dashboards

• Salesforce Admin

For Solution Manager Salesforce:

Salesforce Knowledge:

• Responsibility of technical integrity, data modelling and architecture of Salesforce Application/Solution (existing and new developments)

• Write technical documentation and keep it up-to-date

• Seek for ideas and support from IM colleagues (and Salesforce colleagues) to propose smart developments

• Be the "translator" between us and developers

• Support internal and external developers/ Aqua metrics, data gathering.

Information Management:

• Be the link to IM, collect input from other IM experts if needed

• Take the role of IM expert in our work: be the one who holds the technical ball

• Have a strong link with Solution Managers of other FSWS systems and Sales systems

• FSWS team-Aqua, SWF, FS Mobility App

• Sales team - CRM, W\xc3\xa4rtsil\xc3\xa4 Online, B2B solutions

• Be aware and share best practices (for development) to do things smarter and not reinvent the wheel

• Inform about systems service maintenance breaks and issues (e.g. SAP, Salesforce, etc.)

Scrum Master:

• Manage development workload estimation Ensure that the work assigned can be finished on the agreed schedule with agreed resources

• Keep all parties on track and informed

• Remove developers\' roadblocks

• Ensure we follow Agile/DevOps practices and coach if needed

• Track system development vendor hours

• Host daily stand-up meetings

• Document in Jira the task statuses
