We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Consultant Specialist. In this role, you will:

• Provide IT consultancy (as required) producing technical solutions as appropriate whilst aligning to IT strategies and standards
• Ensuring the department maintains up-to-date documented technical standards
• Providing architecture life-cycle guidance to development teams and ensure quality technical deliverables
• At all times working towards and aligning with HSBC\xe2\x80\x99s Vision 27, MSS Strategy and standards, Surveillance IT & Business strategy
• Manage relationships with key business / IT / external key stakeholders
• Facilitate sharing and alignment of knowledge and best practice with IT teams
• Keeping abreast of technology trends and standards providing recommendations when appropriate.

Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:

• 12+ years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in Building, optimizing and maintaining enterprise applications / platforms and 3+ years of experience as Solution Architect
• Practical experience of applying modern architecture: APIs, micro services, data foundation, analytics and ideally Machine Learning
• Experience with High Throughput / Large Volume data processing systems, Storages (RDBMS, NoSQL, File Buckets), API\xe2\x80\x99s, Data Lineage, Architecture Controls & Governance.
• Practical and demonstrable experience of leading Cloud provider capabilities preferably GCP.
• Experience in covering application, security, data technology domains.
• Track record of delivering successful technical solutions
• Should have hands-on development experience to direct team with technical excellence and best practices. Has worked closely with delivery teams.
• Excellent written and spoken communication & collaboration skills; ability to communicate with impact, ensuring information is articulated in a meaningful way to wide and varied audiences.
• Self-motivated, driven, influential and conscientious, understands what \xe2\x80\x9cowning\xe2\x80\x9d means. Has enthusiasm for their work
