As a Solution Architect, you will be part of an amazing team tasked with architecting innovative IT solutions to support the Personalized Health Care and Real World Data domain. You will be working in the Ecosystem Solutions Product Line specific to Ecosystem Real World Data, Federated Open Science, External Data Capturing and Trusted Research Environment for External collaborations Products that enable the Data Science Collaborations and Challenges for Personalized Health care. Key Responsibilities: Design solutions according to enterprise standards Conduct architecture review of currently existing solutions to ensure continuous improvement Research, evaluate, and create proof of concepts to adopt new technologies Design non-functional requirements and implementation review to identify gaps between design and code Keep up to date on new industry and emerging technologies which can provide advantages and groundbreaking innovations & benefit the business Drive the identification of the most appropriate solution for Roche through formal RFI/RFP/RFQ (Request for Information/Proposal/Quotation) processes. Evaluate feasibility of potential solutions in collaboration with business users and Subject Matter Experts Seek opportunities to create additional value and improve business processes Architect, build, maintain, and operate enterprise-grade systems/applications Who You Are: Bachelor\'s degree in Computer Science or equivalent technical discipline with 5-12 years of professional IT experience in a major, global organization At least 3 years\' experience in at least two IT disciplines in a client/server or service-oriented architecture Experience in the pharmaceutical industry Experience in Personalized Healthcare is a plus Knowledge about real world data capturing, data science enablement, analytics is a plus Experience with SAFe or any other lean-agile framework is a plus Strong communication skills Negotiation skills, long term and strategic thinking without losing the actual needs, teamwork and fast integration into bigger teams Experience in working in a multicultural and international environment Advanced English reading, writing, listening and speaking skills Who we are At Roche, more than 100,000 people across 100 countries are pushing back the frontiers of healthcare.
