Be the lead architect in designing Amdocs's foundation using your deep understanding of the world of software while researching new technologies.

What will your job look like?

You will

• Lead the architecture and design of Amdocs's underlying infrastructure.
• Work with software engineers and other partners (i.e Architects, Product) to define and be aligned with business, development, and deployment needs.
• Research and adopt new technologies used for applying concrete solutions to ongoing challenges.
• Build high-level solutions for business requests.
• Model the system components and define the R&R between components.
• Contribute towards the creation of business flows based on client requirements.
• Meet customers to understand their needs and explain the product architecture.

All you need is...

11+ year's commercial experience within a telco environment

Must have

• Experience in gathering and authoring complex requirements to define features for a customized customer solution
• Experienced in leading customer software solution deliveries.
• A proven track record of delivering complex solutions to multiple customers.
• Experience of technically managing a complex systems integration and deployment project.
• Proven experiences with development and delivery methodologies such as DevOps, Agile and Kanban
• Architecture experience with high performance real time and multi-threaded applications on UNIX/Linux.
• An ability to influence key stakeholders and get buy in on technical decisions

Good to Have

• In depth understanding of telecom networks and technologies
• Proven working experience in delivering OSS & BSS Solutions
• Working Experience of Kubernetes
• Various year's commercial experience within a telco environment
• Practical exposure to the following technologies and tools: Java, Spring Boot , REST, Kafka, Docker, Kubernetes and Jenkins.
• Familiarity with cloud native technologies and building DevOps pipelines
• Proven experience with In-memory databases
• Structured programming experience: course work + commercial, with advanced scripting experience
