Job Description


SAP TRM Solution Architect Location: Delhi/Hyderabad/Mumbai/Noida/Pune SAP Skills 15+ years of experience in two or more SAP TRM and other modules or submodules. Should have experience working as Solution / Enterprise Architect for SAP TRM (Tax and Revenue Management) module. Should have proven experience in designing / architecting SAP TRM solutions for projects/demos. Should have strong experience in the areas viz FICA, FI-CA, BRIM, Hybris Billing, Convergent Invoicing (CI), Contract Accounting (CA), Revenue Management, Dunning Strategies Should have strong experience in the areas viz FICA, FI-CA, BRIM, Hybris, Billing At least four full life-cycle implementation projects (from Blueprint/Explore through Go-Live). Understands SAP Activate Methodology and integration between modules. Ability to work in both Pre-Sales as well as implementation teams. Ability to interpret customer requirements into SAP functionality, identify fit/gap as well as technical solutions for gaps. Ability to use Service Marketplace to create tickets, research notes, review release notes, and solution roadmaps as well as provide guidance to customers on release strategy. Understands complete Module/Application specific SAP functionality as well as integration points with other modules. Understands how to utilize SAP\'s Functionality/Integration to meet business requirements. Effectively plans configuration and master data development. Ensures SAP is meeting project objectives/vision. Key roles and responsibilities of a Solution Architect include. Functional experience & skills/knowledge required for the role include. Expert level knowledge in multiple modules of SAP and multiple industry experience. Understands the industry trends and a Thought leader. Exposure to New technologies of SAP and willing to develop niche pointed solutions. Explore and identify from Customer discussions new sales leads. Identify industry relevant business challenged and build solutions around the same including building new technology solutions. etc. Exposed to multiple Implementation methodologies like ASAP, Activate, Waterfall, Scrum etc. Understands the customer processes and clearly identify the bottlenecks. Able to communicate with Customer confidently, convince / Coach Clients on the most appropriate solution and agree on effective way forward in the best interest. Excellent communication skills in all areas (oral, oral, written, presentations etc.) Strong coaching and leadership skills with particular reference to consultants in their areas of expertise. Strong presentation skills at all levels of engagement with the customer and able to clearly articulate the goals of the project and how they can best be delivered. Leadership and management of assigned teams. Pre-sales Leads and Actively Participates in Pre-Sales. Preparation of various assets / presentation slides to support the sales team. Understands the Customer processes, supports to prepare the Scope of Work (SOW) and prepare the effort estimation. Leads the Customer interaction for the entire Solution Platforms and engagement perspective and brings in clarity of thought in the SOW (without any ambiguity) and ensures that SOW becomes the basis of further interaction. Accountable for building the SOW by bringing in the activity level planning and visibility. Leads the Proof of Concept (PoC) and conduct demoes to the various Clients. Project Engagement Undertakes and owns architecting the solutions of multiple modules to ensure that the integration of systems, processes, data preparation, migration etc are ensured. Total ownership for the entire solution design and solution delivery. Provides the strategy that are required in the various phases of the Projects (eg., when, what, where how and why). Guides the Project team for all open issues or process and ensures that the processes are designed at the most optimized level. Supports the Project Manager in all activities that are required to build the Project plan, identify and estimate the activities, monitors the progress of the overall solution. Understands at the expert level of Customer processes, business challenges, SAP processes, architecture issues are resolved proactively. Support the Project Manager for scope creep, impact analysis and effort requirement including the delays etc. Communicate, conduct periodic Project meetings, provide regular updates to ensure that the overall solution is well designed and delivered. Practice Responsibilities Participates in peer reviews to other Projects and shares the feedback to the Practice Lead / Practice Head / relevant Project Manager and identify the approach for any short-comings. Follow-up with the respective Project colleague and ensure that the feedbacks / observations / recommendations are incorporated and monitored. Actively participates in all Practice activities particularly focusing on POC build, Knowledge Management (KM) activities, re-usable build to achieve Practice objectives. Supports Practice Lead / Practice Head on the strategy activities including participation of recruitment drive, conduct regular interviews to ensure that the best talent is joining the Practice. Be responsible in transforming the Consultants to be the most talented pool by actively coaching, mentoring, role model etc. Pro-actively informs Practice on the slips in the Project and seeks intervention. Pro-actively seeks additional support within the Practice on knowledge gaps
