Role Summary:

• Architectural ownership and solution design
• Experience with Enterprise-Scale Data Projects and comfort around designing scalable Cloud Data Platforms (CDP)
• Cloud Computing Solution designing on AWS, Azure, GCP or alike
• Designing end-to-end Data Pipelines – keeping in mind its orchestration. This includes
• ETL/ELT (we look for experience on Informatica, AWS Glue, GCP Data flow, Apache Nifi or alike)
• Handling sensitive data like PII
• Data Governance
• Data Design and Persistence
• Workflow Orchestration
• Working around Distributed Systems and Transformation of Big Data to design
• Data Lake House
• Enterprise Data Warehouses
• Enterprise Data Marts
• Operational Data Marts
• Orchestration and containerization of solutions (we look for experience on vanilla Kubernetes or cloud equivalents, Open Shift, , Docker Swam or alike)
• Direct interaction with customers, partners to get insights on their data, current system and setup, use-case and their desired outcome

Requirements

Must Have:

• Overall 5+ years working on enterprise solutions including 3+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience working on large scale Data Projects - designing and building scalable ETL/ELT data pipelines along with its processing or transformation
• Experience leading a team of Data Engineers and DevOps professionals
• Experience facilitating technical discussions with customers, partners, and internal stakeholders
• Experience with at least ONE from each category of our Big Data Ecosystem Tech Stack

Big Data Ecosystem Tech Stack Reference:

o Programming Language (at least one)

• Python, Java, Scala

o Platforms (Linux along with at least one)

• Docker, Kubernetes, Cloudera, Hortonworks etc

o ETL/ELT (at least one of both – on-premise and cloud equivalent)

• Sqoop, Apache Nifi, Apache Spark, Databricks, Hive, Informatica
• Cloud equivalents like AWS Glue, AWS EMR, GCP Dataproc, Azure Cloud Factory and others

o Real Time Streaming (at least one of both – on-premise and cloud equivalent)

• Apache Kafka (KStreams, KSQL, KSQLDB), Apache Flink
• Cloud equivalents like AWS Kinesis, GCP PubSub, GCP DataFlow, Azure Event Hub, Azure Stream and others

o Data Warehousing (at least one)

• Snowflake, Cloud equivalents like AWS Redshift, GCP Big Query, Azure Data Warehouse and others

o Orchestration (not mandatory but nice to have skill)

• Apache Airflow or cloud equivalents like AWS Step Functions and others

Nice to Have:

• Engineering background – B.Tech/ M.Tech/ PhD
• Demonstrated understanding of enterprise data warehouses, lake house architecture, BI & analytics, metadata management and governance
• Experience in architectural solutions for Financial Services domain – banking, insurance, mutual fund or similar
• Work with sales teams, in a partnership model to pro-actively research accounts involved with to identify client's pain areas/business challenges, and design appropriate solutions for pro-active proposals.
• Detailed Exposure to at least one of the following cloud providers: AWS, GCP, Azure
• Experience designing real-time data stream processing solutions.
• Experience working in a fast-paced startup environment
• Certifications from Cloud or Data Solutions Providers like AWS, GCP, Confluent, Data bricks, Cloudera etc.

Responsibilities:

• Facilitate technical discussions with customers, partners, and internal stakeholders as needed through all phases of customer engagements.
• Provide domain expertise around public cloud and enterprise technology, and promote Google Cloud with customers, at conferences, and online.
• Create and deliver best practice recommendations, tutorials, blog posts, sample code, and presentations adapted to technical, business, and executive partners.
• Provide customer and market feedback to product and engineering teams to help define product direction.
• Work as part of a broader Solutions Go-to-Market team to contribute technical assets, prioritize and shape solution direction, while impacting top line business and bookings.
• Ensure that the deliveries from the team members should meet the delivery schedule with optimum quality.
• Seminar for architectural experience and training for Tech-Leads
