As a Solution Architect, candidate must have a well-rounded background in a diverse set of Big Data, ML, and devsecops. Established track record with Hadoop/EMR, Spark technologies (administration, configuration, and troubleshooting), with hands-on production experience and a deep understanding of the Hadoop and Spark architectures and internals.

• 
  Architect, develop and implement the Big Data/ML platform using EMR, open source ML frameworks, and Spark.
• Assist in building out the DevOps strategy for hosting and managing the infrastructure in AWS cloud.
• Design and implement big data technologies around Apache Hadoop, Spark, and ML Frameworks in a large enterprise at scale
• Lead agile development projects for enterprise-level systems component design and implementation
• Demonstrate deep understanding and application of enterprise software design patterns and practices.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in relevant Big Data/Cloud architect roles
• Bachelor degree in Technical discipline; Masters preferred
• Excellent communication skills.
• Demonstrated track record delivering scalable, high-performance big-data and ML platforms to production in a large enterprise.
• Deep understanding of the internals of Spark and the Hadoop ecosystem including 5+ years experience with Spark and Hadoop.
• Strong coder who can implement in various programming languages including Scala and Java following the common patterns and best practices.
• Application performance tuning (Spark/Hadoop/EMR, Java, Scala).
• Must have shell scripting Linux experience and thorough understanding of DevOps practices.

• Financial Industry experience preferred
