• Summary

The primary purpose of this role is to provide consultation and technical direction on translating business requirements and functional specifications into logical program designs. This includes facilitating the implementation and maintenance of complex business and enterprise software solutions to ensure successful deployment of released applications. This role serves as a technical expert for project teams throughout the implementation and maintenance of business and enterprise software solutions. In addition, this role personally develops and delivers code modules, stable application systems, and integrated enterprise software solutions within various computing environments.

Job Summary
As a Lead Software Engineer, you will be extremely knowledgeable around modern software design and development. You will demonstrate expertise around open systems tech stack. You are expected to build and grow the skill sets of junior engineers. You will also partner with SEMs/PMs to lay out Product and Technology roadmap.

• You will collaborate with product stake holders to build secure, reliable and scalable software solutions
• You will focus on code level designing while build the applications
• You will help to maintain a high standard in coding and testing through effective code review and leveraging the automated code scanning tools.
• You will help to CI/CD deployment in the Environment
• You will focus on test automation and in-sprint automation by building automation test frameworks
• You will maintain the SLA/SLOs for product and triage high priority issues and outages as they arise

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, CIS, or related field
• Strong computer science fundamentals in data structures and collections.
• 8+ years of experience in software development or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in Java script, Java and Spring technologies
• 5+ years of experience working on project(s) involving the implementation of solutions applying development life cycles (SDLC)

Preferred Qualifications (mandatory)

• Experience developing and implementing complex business systems within an organization
• Experience writing technical documentation in a software development environment
• Experience working in an AGILE environment having exposure to SCRUM/XP practice
• Proficient in a back-end technology and framework - Springboot, Micronaut, NodeJS
• Proficient in data modelling and writing SQL query against Relational and NOSQL DB
• Strong knowledge in Microservices architecture, building and running APIs on a Kubernetes platform (cloud/on-prem PaaS)
• Experience building event-driven systems using Kafka
• Expert in design principles and patterns, low-level to high-level software design and building full stack application by applying modern architecture
• Strong advocate of test-driven and behavioral-driven development using test automation framework like, Cucumber, Rest assured, Soapui, TestNG.
• Must have DevOps mindset and proficient in a CI/CD toolchain like Git, Jenkins, Sonar
• 4+ years of experience leading teams, with or without direct reports
