About this opportunity

We are now looking for a 2nd Level Operations professional with strategic directions of Managed Services IT ADM. This job role is responsible for monitoring, coordination, support, management, and execution of reactive maintenance activities to ensure that services provided to customers are continuously available and performing to Service Level Agreement (SLA) performance levels. Mostly infrastructure management

What you will do

• Contributes to and supports the corporate Enterprise Container Strategy by Identifying ideas to improve system performance and impact availability.
• Manage the container platform ecosystem (installation, upgrade, patching, monitoring)
• Cluster capacity management and provisioning through automation of underlying hosts.
• Works with experienced team members to conduct root cause analysis of issues, review new and existing code and/or perform unit testing.
• Partners with experienced team members to develop accurate work estimates on work packages.
• May serve as a mentor on procedural matters to less experienced internal and third-party team members.
• Understand customer requirements, translating them into refined and detailed specification documents
• Provide resolution to project or customer issues, following proper partner concern procedures, in a timely fashion
• Need to have excellent written and verbal communication skills for communicating with customer technically and procedurally

You will bring

• Experience with Containers and Orchestrations (Docker, K8s, Rancher, Redhat OpenShift and RHACM)
• Good hands-on experience of managing Redhat OpenShift/Kubernetes cluster environment.
• Installation and upgrade of OpenShift/Kubernetes using manual and automated approach.
• Good knowledge on migration and transition of Redhat OpenShift infra.
• Maintain and Develop Docker images/containers for different technology stack.
• Setting up and managing Docker private repository and creating docker file to create custom Docker images.
• Building and configuring Kubernetes-based infrastructure, Core-DNS, Kube Proxy, Ingress
• Ensure that the connectivity and network are always up and running and plan for capacity upgrading or downsizing as and when the need arises
• Monitoring tools \xe2\x80\x93 Prometheus and/or Logic Monitor. Suggest & enable monitoring for 360-degree health status of the system.
• Good knowledge of automation and configuration management framework like Ansible, Puppet, Chef, etc.
• Automating the build of containerized systems with CI/CD tooling, Helm charts, and more. Managing deployments and rollbacks of applications
• Experience in Security & Hardening (under O&M) and suggest best security policies implementation.
• Maintenance of Ingress/DNS, Storage Classes, Helm Catalog.
• Understanding of internet technologies (DNS, SNMP, HTTP, TCP/IP, CDNs)
• Experience with virtualization and cloud technologies (VMWare, RHEVM, AWS/GCP)
• Good communication skills and business orientation
• Work closely with members of Support and Engineering teams to quickly resolve any client issues
• Analyze customer improvement areas and challenges related to technology and processes
• Basic knowledge/understanding for API Scripting and automation (i.e. Python, XML/JSON, Restful APIs, Jinja Templates).
