We are currently seeking a Solution Architect to join our team in Bangalore, Karn taka (IN-KA), India (IN). Key responsibilities and accountabilities Provide technical leadership and Subject Matter Expertise in the digital architecture area. Review, interpret and respond to detailed business requirements specifications (BRS) to ensure alignment between customer expectations and current or future ICT capability Design and document the proposed solution, architectural and infra changes in the Software Design Specification Provide input to the strategic direction of technology investments to assist in the development of the enterprise architecture and maximise the return on technology investment Solution design on customer focused digital services such as web, mobile, eCommerce and eBusiness Within the agreed enterprise architecture, define and design technology solutions to assist the business in meeting their business objectives Experience in Digital transformation projects Experience in a specialist function, either one of more (SAP Hybris, AWS, Adobe AEM, Front end frameworks) Undertake objective, critical analysis to draw accurate conclusions that recognise and manage contextual issues Work through issues, weigh up alternatives and identify the most effective solutions Take account of the wider business context when considering options to resolve issues Explore a range of possibilities and creative alternatives to contribute to systems, process and business improvements Should design, develop, and maintain systems, processes, procedures to deliver a high-quality service design. Implement systems and processes that underpin high quality research and analysis Participate in technology selection efforts and deliver solution for a given problem. Identify system, infrastructure and project interdependencies and balance competing demands to ensure project deliverables are achieved. Ensure compliance of developed solution to underlying solution architecture Deliver the highest quality of software design and solution requirements. Prepare high level time and cost estimates, identifies and mitigate project risks, plan the full project life cycle and recommend approaches to improve time to market. Provide architectural and solution oversight, metrics tracking and issue resolution. Participate in continuous improvement by proposing best practices, enforcing standards and improving processes Maintain relationships and collaborate with other integration domains including architecture, business analysis, infrastructure, quality control, and security Collaborate with product management & engineering to define & implement innovative solutions for the product direction. Delivering digital solutions by keeping the client at the forefront of digital technologies. Work collaboratively to contribute to achieving multiple team\'s business outcomes. Participate in meetings to obtain the work group perspective and share information. Within own function: Level: all roles up to Head of/Director. External suppliers: Level: all roles up to Head of in the case of Service Integrators, Service Providers, Technology Partner and / or Offshore Partners. Nature: influencing, negotiating and providing technical information to a non-technical audience. Purpose: to ensure delivery of projects. External customers: Level: end customer in focus groups or all roles up to Head of in the case of Wholesale, B2B and / or Channel Partners. Nature: In the case of partners: influencing, negotiating and providing technical information to a non-technical audience. Purpose: to ensure delivery of projects. Competencies/Critical Skills: Critical knowledge and experience Minimum of 5 years of experience in designing and proposing solutions for a given business requirement adhering to digital architectural principles. Used appropriate tools, including logical models of components and interfaces, to contribute to the development of systems architectures in specific business or functional areas. Produced detailed component specifications and translated these into detailed designs for implementation using selected products. Experience of digital environments and ways of working Experience of working in a team environment Experience in delivering designs under waterfall and iterative/agile models Problem solving and analytical thinking Experience in the preparation of technical plans and cooperated with business assurance and project staff to ensure that appropriate technical resources are made available. Provided advice on technical aspects of system development and integration (including requests for changes, deviations from specifications, etc.) and ensured that relevant technical strategies, policies, standards and practices are applied correctly Flexibility, energy and ability to work well with others in a virtual, geographically dispersed team environment Excellent verbal and written communication skills - working with stakeholders and product owners Excellent stakeholder management skills Ability to multi-task and run parallel streams of work in a fast paced environment Comfortable presenting in front of key stakeholders Very quick learner with a positive/can do attitude Experience in delivering across various project methodologies (Agile & Waterfall) Ability to make key decisions quickly and with confidence Strongly desired Telco or related industry experience Proven experience working on large scale digital/transformation projects 10+ years\' experience in digital industry 5+ years\' experience as a solution architect. Experience across e-commerce platforms and technologies Business/context - must have Telecom experience Nice to have Knowledge of \'as is\' EE, OUK and TMUK delivery processes Previous experience working for EE Skills and knowledge Planning & Organising - having clear and regularly updated project plans and RAID logs are key to ensuring all supplier individuals and organisation are aligned to delivering projects Working Collaboratively - builds strong and sustainable relationships cross functionally to enable alignment of work Influencing & Persuading - ensuring the entire project team understands the importance of hitting deadlines and delivering quality work with the end customer always in mind. Delivery of Results - continued focus on delivery Project & Programme Delivery KPI\'s which will be linked to individual and team objectives Focusing on the Customer - both internally and externally. A project is not delivered until the business accepts it has delivered against objectives and the end customer is not negatively impacted by the change Corporate governance -preparation for formal boards and documentation for undertaking gate moves
