We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated

Solar PV Designer

to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing solar photovoltaic (PV) systems for residential, commercial, and industrial projects. You will work closely with project managers, engineers, and clients to create efficient, reliable, and sustainable solar energy solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Design Solar PV Systems

: Create detailed designs for solar energy systems, including layout, electrical, and mechanical components using software such as AutoCAD, PVsyst, or Helioscope.

Site Assessments

: Conduct site evaluations to determine the suitability of solar energy solutions, considering factors such as sun exposure, roof orientation, shading, and electrical requirements.

System Sizing & Analysis

: Perform electrical and structural calculations to determine the appropriate size and configuration of solar systems based on energy needs, budget, and environmental conditions.

Permitting & Documentation

: Prepare technical documentation and assist with permitting processes by ensuring designs meet local codes, standards, and regulations.

Collaboration

: Work alongside project managers, engineers, and installation teams to ensure designs are feasible, cost-effective, and implemented smoothly.

Quality Assurance

: Ensure that designs meet industry best practices, are optimized for performance, and comply with all safety standards.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or a related field. Minimum of 2 years of experience in solar PV system design. Proficiency in solar design software (PVsyst, AutoCAD, Helioscope, or similar). Strong understanding of electrical and mechanical systems in relation to solar energy. Knowledge of national and local codes/regulations (e.g., NEC, UL standards). Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team. Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Pay: ?18,000.00 - ?22,000.00 per month
