Job Title: Software Testing Senior Specialist
Location: Chennai

Position Description:

• Software Testing Engineer We are seeking a skilled Software Testing Engineer with minimum 8 years of experience in both Automation and Manual Testing.
• The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development and testing methodologies, with a focus on delivering high-quality software products.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute automated test scripts using Playwright with Typescript and Selenium WebDriver with Java.
• Implement various automation frameworks, including BDD with Cucumber, JUnit, TestNG, and Data Driven Framework.
• Create and maintain BDD scripts using feature files in Cucumber. - Utilize build automation tools such as Maven, npm for project management.
• Participate in the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) with Agile-Scrum methodologies.
• Manage project tasks and track progress using JIRA or any other test management tools.
• Checkout and check in source code using Git for version control.
• Experience in BrowserStack platform would be added advantage.
• Write and optimize XPath expressions to effectively identify web elements.
• Conduct various testing types including End to End Testing, Smoke Testing, Sanity Testing, and Regression Testing.
• Collaborate with development teams to ensure timely and effective testing processes.
• Implement Continuous Integration (CI) practices using Jenkins.
• Perform API testing using Postman to ensure robust functionality.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in software testing, both manual and automated.
• Strong programming skills in Java, Typescript and experience with Selenium & Playwright automation.
• Familiarity with BDD methodologies and tools such as Cucumber.
• Understanding of Agile methodologies and experience with tools like JIRA.
• Knowledge of CI/CD practices and tools such as GIT Actions, Jenkins.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

• PlayWright NodeJS
