Job Description

As a FinTech Tester, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and functionality of financial technology applications. Your primary focus will be on validating the accuracy, security, and compliance of software solutions that involve financial transactions, data integrity, and risk management.

Test Planning and Design:

Understand project requirements, specifications, and functionality.

Develop and maintain detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test cases.

Review and analyze technical specifications and user stories.

Perform end-to-end testing for payment gateways, Third-party API, digital banking platforms, lending solutions, and other financial systems.

Manual and Automated Testing:

Execute test cases (manual and automated) to ensure the software meets design specifications.

Conduct manual testing to ensure UI/UX, functionality, and security measures are up to standard.

Perform API testing to validate integrations between financial services and third-party systems.

Create, run, and maintain automated tests for regression testing.

Perform functional, regression, usability, performance, and load testing.

Defect Tracking and Reporting:

Identify, document, and track bugs using tools like JIRA, Bugzilla, etc.

Collaborate with developers to ensure defects are resolved and re-tested.

Provide detailed reports on testing progress, coverage, and quality metrics.

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Experience:

3-6 years of experience in software testing, preferably in FinTech or financial services. Experience with financial applications (banking software, payment systems, trading platforms, etc.). Knowledge of test automation tools (Selenium, Appium) and frameworks for financial application testing. Knowledge of testing in cloud environments (AWS, Azure). Experience with performance and security testing. Knowledge of SQL/MYSql for database testing.
