TITLE : Software Solutions Engineer II - Claims WHAT YOU\'LL DO: The Software Solutions Engineer will upgrade the client applications with the latest base version for the company. The Software Solutions Engineer will be responsible for debugging and fixing the issues coming out of the upgrade, etc. Analyzes client code to figure out deviations to check what can be upgraded and what requires client confirmations. Analyzes and assesses upgrade impact based on release notes and code changes for new release features. Upgrades the client applications with the latest base versions. Provides work-a-rounds or solutions to third-party implementation teams or customers based on analysis during the triage process. Leverages Duck Creek upgrade tools to generate differential analysis and produce low-impact upgrade paths for Duck Creek Customers. Requires minimal direction and minimal oversight Acts independently. Identifies ways to automate processes or develop utilities to assist in faster and more effective upgrades. WHAT YOU\'VE DONE: Bachelors in computer science, Computer Information Sciences, or related degree. 3 years of experience. Demonstrated proficiency in Analysis, Development, and Triage. Demonstrated proficiency in Duck Creek Claims Studio, Triaging tools knowledge, Internet Information Services (IIS) , and Extensible Markup Language (XML), . Demonstrated proficiency i n Claims/Party areas like FNOL, Desktop, Financials etc. Demonstrated proficiency in Claims Config tables, XSLTXML, Activities, Expression functions, DGPH, Address Blocks etc. Demonstrated proficiency in Claims and Party Integrations & 3rd Party Integrations in Claims/ Party. Demonstrated proficiency in .NET, C#, and SQL language. Demonstrated proficiency in Visual Studio IDE or similar IDE. Demonstrated proficiency in Insurance domain knowledge. Demonstrated proficiency in TFS and GIT workflow. Any prior experience on Duck Creek products Policy/Billing and tools is a plus.
