What you will be doing:

As a Software Quality Engineer at Clario, you will work as part of dedicated project teams to deliver the best quality software for studies & patients across the world. Within this role you will have responsibilities for (but may not be limited to)

Test case design;

Working with internal stakeholders to understand project requirements, providing experience and guidance regarding project risk and possible mitigation actions.

Defining prerequisites, test case goals, & expected results.

Using test techniques for defining test cases.

Set-up and maintain/update configured test systems for test execution

Collaborating with developer or study implementation manager to understand the changes in new software versions and identify the appropriate set of functional and regression tests needed to verify that new features work as designed and do not cause any undesirable behaviour.

Test execution, review & result analysis;

Executing predefined test cases on SUT.

Creating meaningful test evidence & suitable test data.

Checking test cases and their execution for completeness/correctness.

Ensuring test were executed in line with protocol and corresponding test documentation. Comparing and assessing expected with actual test results.

Attend UATs.

Bug Testing & Reporting.

Identifying and reporting deviations. Follow all testing practices and procedures to meet regulatory compliance standards and Good Clinical Practices

Continuous project reporting & management of test & project documentation;

Attending status meetings and reporting status for assigned projects.

Participating in discussions on test approach for upcoming testing tasks

Reviewing project relevant documents regarding testability, comprehensibility, plausibility, inconsistencies or quality gaps.

Creating test documents needed for various test activities and applicable SOPs/procedures.

Providing necessary documents to support audits.

Other responsibilities may include:

Participating in Root Cause Analysis Sessions

Collaborating with other team members and departmental leads to support continuous process improvement initiatives.

Mentoring, training and supporting new team members as assigned.

Maintaining a broad understanding of practices and developments in the Computing, Regulatory, Pharmaceutical and HealthCare industries.

What we look for:

BSc, MSc or PhD in a field related to computer sciences.

2+ years\xe2\x80\x99 software testing experience

Experience working in the Healthcare / Pharmaceutical / Clinical Research industry

Experience working in an international environment

ISTQB certified (minimum foundational level)

Strong verbal & written English skills

Skills and experience in Test Automation is highly desirable

Experience working to / qualifications in Agile methodology is highly desirable

Previous experience working with Medical Devices, eCOA, IRT/RTSM, eConsent, ePRO or other eClinical / Clinical technologies is highly desirable
