- Software Quality Assurance(QA) & product Quality for Projects in Automotive - Powertrain Solutions Embedded SW Domain
- Ensure that the QA strategy suitable to the Software projects is defined and followed.
- Support the project for preparation for system/process audits, customer specific presentations and Quality Gates
- Lead-EPQ has to evaluate the Product Verification Plan (PVP)and quality related risks & provide the basis for the release decision by the management .
- Random checks on project artefacts and work products and report the critical points in Project Review meetings.
- Support in any Lessons Learned of the project, moderate Root Cause Analysis/8Ds
- Support the project manager in preparation of quality relevant presentations towards customer (8D report, ASPICE status, etc.,).
- If necessary, attend the customer meetings representing quality aspects with regards to content.
- Review documents like the release letter before they are sent to the customer.
- Identify coaching needs for the adequate implementation of the processes and methods, and support the team or address to the management.
- Contact and involve the process responsible / process owners and experts if needed.
- Identify / collect process improvement ideas/requests and address them to the process owner / process responsible via the Q organization.
B.E/B.Tech, M.E / M.Tech in Electronics and Communication, Electrical & Electronics, Computer Science with / without Post Graduation in Quality related topics (optional)
Overall 8-10 years of working experience
1 or 2 years - Quality assurance or process consultancy
Good knowledge of ASPICE quality standards and CDQ
2 to 3 years of Experience in Software development and engineering
Knowledge of Embedded SW development RDCT lifecycle and overview of Powertrain systems - Electronic Control Unit for Automotive Domain
Qualified Quality Gates (QG) Moderator
Process Definition and Quality Assurance (Process Deployment) experience as per ISO9001 / ISO TS - 16949, IATF , CMMI L5 models in Software Engineering
Knowledge about FMEA and DRBFM processes
Knowledge of Quality Methods with the ability to drive to root cause of specific concerns using quality tools and problem solving techniques
