Position: Software Principal Engineer
Location: Bangalore
Duration: 15 Months
Job Type: Contract
Work Type: Onsite
:

• Design and develop scalable middleware systems using Java and Spring Boot.
• Implement high-performance, reliable, and maintainable code.
• Utilize Elasticsearch to build and optimize search and analytics solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Conduct code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to best practices.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in a timely manner.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 7+ years of professional experience in software development.
• Strong proficiency in Java and Spring Boot.
• Solid understanding of RESTful Backend/API design and development.
• Hands-on experience with Elasticsearch, including indexing, querying, and performance tuning.
• Experience with database technologies such as SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with microservices architecture.
• Knowledge of GIT, CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.

Mandatory Skills

• Java & Spring Boot: 7+ years
• Middleware & Service-Based Architecture: Minimum 4+ years of experience.
• Database Management: At least 4 years of experience working with any database.
• System Design: Minimum 2 years of experience in designing distributed systems or enterprise-level applications.
• DevOps Tools: at least 2 years of experience in Git; CI/CD Pipelines Docker & Kubernetes

Good-to-Have Skills

• Elasticsearch
• Cloud Exposure: AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Monitoring & Logging Tools

Experience:

• Total Exp: 8-12 Years
• Rel Exp: 7 years
