Your Role As an Engineering Team Manager on our team, you\xe2\x80\x99ll work with software that rewrites the rules of what\xe2\x80\x99s possible in the pursuit of making transportation safer, greener and more connected. In your daily job you will:
- Lead a team 5-10 team members from staffing, onboarding, operating, training, assessing, promoting to accountability for team achievements, project execution, progress tracking and reporting.
- Work in an agile development environment and establish skills for core Scrum roles, guiding the team to comply with internal processes and best practices, and play the role of technical mentor.
- Manage budget and capital planning, and work closely with and assist Senior Engineering Management.
- Master\'s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering.
- 3+ years of experience in leading and managing high performing software teams in an Agile development environment, with expertise in system/software architecture design for complex systems and 2+ years of experience in embedded C/C++ programming.
- Willingness to disrupt the industry, comfortable with SW development process, software project management, Scrum coordination, team-oriented and a methodical approach to problem-solving. Knowledge or interest in Cybersecurity, IoT, OTA is a plus.
- Experience in Cybersecurity and/or IoT and/or OTA SW Update, as well as POSIX RTOS and/or Embedded Linux and/or Autosar experience and knowledge of Ethernet communication protocols.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, and experience with embedded development tools, system software architecture tools, and Agile tools.
- Desirable qualifications include 2+ years of Automotive industry work experience, knowledge of CAN communication protocols and tools, embedded microprocessor experience, and service communication experience with SOMEIP and DDS.
