Today, our diversified team provides home lending, auto loans, and student loans to more than 30 million customers About the Role This is a Frontline leadership role to manage Transformation and Enablement Applications of Home Lending - Marketing Technologies at WF India. This role will directly report into Head of Marketing & Sales Technology in India and functionally to the Technology Leader of Marketing & Sales on US Side. Responsibilities Lead the Technology delivery team at WF India for Home Lending- Marketing technology function and is Responsible for the overall direction and operations of the technology delivery for this function across applications and projects. Engage with the Technology Head of the group at US and his/her directs to formulate and implement an effective global talent and delivery strategy. Functionally own applications and deliver technology solutions to the business ( application ownership) Lead engineering teams, own applications, support in building the Product/ Application Strategy (Road Map etc.), drive CLOUD transformation initiates and work towards enhancing the value to the larger organization inheriting key goals. Handling mid-d team with various management responsibilities that include: people management, reviewing, assessing and managing quality of work, leading projects, developing a technology strategy and managing business relationships. Build teams from the scratch and achieve Agile transformation for the existing teams Collaborates within and across agile teams to design, test, implement, and support technical solutions in full-stack development tools and methodologies Ensures compliance and risk management requirements for supported area are met. Ensures that key areas of technology risk including security, stability, and scalability are addressed in products and capabilities within the domain(s). Interact effectively with US managers and manages the relationship with line of business managers and technology managers to deliver successful business results based on technology requirements Ensure effective transition of technology work from the US to the India platforms in collaboration with the US teams and the transition team. Build and lead a team to deliver quality and cost effective offshoring solutions to the US managers Essential Qualifications 15+ years of enterprise application development and implementation experience across different tech stack 5+ years of management experience in technology including large/multiple application development & maintenance efforts within a small-to-medium line of business Exposure to Banking domain is a must. Strong working experience in Lending/Mortgage and development of tools and applications for internal businesses will bepreferred. Experience in managing engineering teams with strong technical experts and Solution engineers Expertise in CLOUD technologies including Azure, PCF, GCP, Docker and Kubernetes and experience in leading transformation projects Solid experience working with Java and related technologies Experience with Web and UI technologies like Angular , React, JQuery is a plus Experience with building and running micro services in a cloud environment Experience with and thorough understanding of event stream processing like Kafka is good to have Ability to interact with all levels of an organization Ability to motivate staff to prioritize work, meet deadlines, achieve goals, and work under pressure in a dynamic and complex environment Ability to work with 3rd party service providers to deliver technology solutions that meet business needs Strong written and verbal communication skills. This includes the demonstrated ability to interact with all levels of management via leading meetings and developing presentations. Must have good understanding of global trends and practices in Technology. Must be able to demonstrate true results in impacting business outcomes and must be an innovative leader. Must have created and presented business cases to management, involving both Strategic and Operational initiatives. Proven record in a successful global delivery environment, across multiple sites in closely working with various stakeholders. Proven capability to identify, recruit, develop and retain talent Ability to think logically excellent problem solving, decision-making, and analytical skills Strategic thinker with strong implementation skills highly organized and self-directed takes initiative Desired Qualifications Experience in a Global in-house (GIC) center would be desirable. Strong knowledge/Expertise with dev ops culture, Automation and Engineering practices Good understanding of global trends and practices in Technology. Demonstrated expertise in Project Management, Customer Engagement, People Leadership and Quality. Should have managed a medium d team independently, looking after budgets, revenues, expenses, staffing, people development, etc. Experienced in process improvement and quality frameworks. A seasoned, relationship-driven executive who will have the style and sensitivity to work within a highly complex business environment. Multi-cultural sensitivity a must.
