The Risk Technology team is responsible for developing innovative Risk calculation & management platforms, integrated with advanced analytics & reporting capabilities. The team has embarked on a transformative Modernization journey to enable next generation risk management capabilities leveraging cloud technologies, machine learning, etc. We are a global team spread across New York, Houston, and Bangalore. The ideal candidate will be a strong, innovative Lead who is passionate about working in a quality-focused environment, who can build strong networks to deliver results, who can bring great ideas to the table, build a high performing team and who works well as part of a diverse team.

Responsibilities include:

• Leading software development, in an agile environment, interfacing closely with the business, quantitative research analysts, and upstream as well as downstream technology teams across the firm.
• Develop robust, performant software products and enrich existing applications.
• Developing frameworks, metrics and reporting to ensure that progress can be measured, evaluated and continually improved.
• Developing new strategy, roadmaps, architecture, delivery plans, proofs of concepts and having hands-on responsibility for delivering on key business objectives, including our cloud-based modernization agenda.
• Be responsible for the entire SDLC : Requirement gathering, designing, implementation, testing, debugging and maintaining applications that are at the core of Country Risk calculations across lines of business. Eligibility Criteria:

• BE/BTech Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent
• Proficient development experience with Core Java, Springboot, SQL and JavaScript, HTML/CSS.
• Experience with Cloud technologies, React/UI technologies will be a strong plus.
• Experience with Tableau Desktop and Server, Alteryx, Cognos, UX design and visualizations (reports and dashboards), etc. will be a plus
• Excellent analytical, quantitative, problem solving and organizational skills are a must.
• Significant programming experience with object-oriented languages that demonstrates exceptional design, coding, testing and debugging skills.
• Focus on testing through the entire development cycle to produce reliable and maintainable software.
• Enthusiastic to keep learning and growing, in technical aptitude and business understanding.
• Expertise in all phases of SDLC & risk controls (including CI-CD TDD, regression testing, DevOps).
• Strong spoken and written communication skills.
