About the job

This position is needed to build and scale our global Silent Network Auth and Identity products within the Account Security business unit. You will be part of our team based out of Bangalore, India focussing on Mobile Carrier integrations and platform development.

Responsibilities

In this role, you'll:

  • Experience working on the design and implementation phases of cloud-based distributed systems built to seamlessly scale to several million transactions per day, tackling some of the most complex and exciting technical problems in the industry.
  • Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, including design, development, testing, and release
  • Collaborate with multiple R&D and product teams, crafting together microservices and APIs that developers around the world will leverage to deliver new applications.
  • Enable millions of consumers to do secure and frictionless sign up and sign in every day using the services from the global brands they trust.

Required:
  • Fluent in Java and have experience with building service-oriented, database driven applications
  • 1+ years experience in contributing to the design, building and operating high-scale, mission critical cloud based production systems.
  • Experience building and supporting mission critical user-facing systems.
  • Strong cross-team communication and collaboration skills. You work with your team towards common goals.
  • A healthy ability to manage and resolve conflict - you have the ability to listen, present, and question effectively.
  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) with 3 years of experience with software development lifecycle and processes.
Desired:
  • Experience integrating with third-party web services across a variety of technologies, e.g. REST, SOAP, SMPP
  • Experience with some (or all) of the following technologies/frameworks/tools: Maven, Git, MySQL, JMS, Spring
  • Experience with any major Cloud service provider e.g. AWS, GCP
Location

This role will be based in India, out of our Bangalore office or remote.

Approximately ~5% travel is anticipated.
