What is in the scope of this role?

• Work as a member of development team;
• Estimating efforts and duration on development;
• Work on Netcracker BSS/OSS development projects;
• Involvement in solution implementation projects;
• Interaction with Business Analysts, Quality Assurance and Customer Support teams;
• Provide expertise and best practices on technical aspects of product development and implementation projects including performance;
• Introduce new development technologies, instruments and techniques.
  

What skills and experience will you need for this role?






Responsibilities:

• Software development of NetCracker OSS solution projects;
• Develop modules from scratch;
• Provide expertise and best practices on technical aspects of development and implementation projects including performance;
• Ensuring compliance with technical specifications and detailed requirements;
• Integrating of all parts of the solutions and performing Integration testing;
• Supporting Release Management and Deployment of solution.

Qualifications/ Requirements: :

• Looking for a self-driven individual who is quick learner and demonstrates ownership;
• Bachelor’s degree in Comp science, IT, Electronics/telecommunications;
• 3 - 8 years’ experience as software developer/Sr. Dev/Lead in Java;
• Strong OOP skills using Core java;
• Excellent command over Java SE and Java EE, Web Services, JMS, JDBC, Hibernate, Spring Frameworks, Spring boot, XML/XSLT, JAXB, UML, Linux OS;
• Experience of RDBMS (preferably PostgreSQL), basic SQL is mandatory;
• Experience in No SQL Database (MongoDB, ElasticSearch) and GraphDB (ArangoDB) is an added advantage;
• Experience on GO, Python and Kafka is an added advantage;
• Exposure to frontend technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus;
• Understanding in OSS concepts is a plus;
• Knowledge of third party test controllers. Test automation suites is a plus;
• Knowledge of development lifecycle, standards, approaches, utilities and environment: shells, version control systems, IDEs, project assembling tools;
• Good technical English verbal/writing skills;
• Ability to learn new technologies on the fly.
