The ideal candidate will have experience mentoring other developers, architecting solutions, and optimizing the delivery of high-quality code. Being the person in charge, your overall support to ensure efficiency, consistency and timely delivery of projects will be crucial. Jointly, you\'ll drive the adoption and rollout of agile designs and engineering practices, as well as ensure automated testing, risk management and standardization. An ideal candidate will have strong technical and communication skills, a strong coding experience, and web application background, and a comprehensive understanding of how to design and work well within a collaborative environment. A solid understanding of Java development, build systems, and best coding practices is critical to success. Collaborate with Product owners to plan, implement and deliver tasks and modules on a timely basis with best practices and adherence to SOPs. Understand the product requirements, ask questions, and gather information and feedback to design and deliver scalable and flexible systems. Contribute to accurate, unambiguous technical design specifications to the appropriate detail. Deliver customer value in the form of high-quality software components and services in adherence to security, performance, longevity, and Integration testing Understand the challenges and limitations of the existing system and demonstrate the ability to contribute to the engineering roadmap and design discussions. Participate in design reviews and provide input to design recommendations where necessary Design, carry out and manage Java development phases. Participate in architectural development. Find and solve production and non-production application issues Understand complex business problems and implement product features that are secure, scalable, robust, and easy to implement and maintain Take full ownership of product features to implement, provide bug fixes and write tests and tooling for those features to ensure they work well at cloud scale. Play a key role in the development of best practices in software design, implementation, and coding standards. Write efficient, testable, and reliable code. Ensure that design complies with business goals and specifications Understand and follow coding conventions, architectures, and best practices. Take ownership of what the team builds after the release consider customer adoption as success criteria As needed, gather requirements, and analyze, understand, and translate those requirements into technical specifications. Create, launch, and maintain critical, high-volume, low-latency system. Work with other Engineers in planning, prioritizing and executing assigned tasks within deadlines. Assist in risk assessment and mitigation activities Develop high-quality code and conduct unit testing using automated unit test frameworks. Experienced in understanding the Product Architecture, Development Life Cycle process, to effectively deliver complex business solutions, in a test-driven environment.
