If you enjoy working on challenging tasks in small, highly capable teams, with lots of autonomy then we would love to talk to you. As a features engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the customer facing features related to threat and malware protection(IDS/IPS) of the device. With hundreds of millions of people using Meraki products around the world, your work will have a significant impact from the day it is deployed.Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science (or equivalent or a related field, or equivalent experience) Have 3+ years of professional (or comparable) experience writing production code Proficiency in writing quality code and having strong problem solving skills in C/C++ Have good understanding of OS fundamentals (user/kernel space) Effective Collaborative and Communication skills Bonus points: Good Networking Foundational knowledge Understanding of Network-Security fundamentals Concepts of Linux containerisation (Docker, LXC) Experience of working in Interpreted Language(Ruby, Python) Experience working in cloud-based infrastructure and services Cisco Covid-19 Vaccination Policy The health and safety of Cisco's employees, customers, and partners is a top priority.
