You\'ll be crucial to the development of best-in-class security features. Leveraging your knowledge in Networking/multi-cloud/distributed environments, you\'ll make a global impact on Enterprises/applications, users and their workloads. As a Software Engineer, you will be responsible for: Building new and enhance products and services for Next generation Micro segmentation and threat protection solutions Taking ownership for technical and product innovation, implementing proof of concepts, analyzing systems, and proposing solutions Collaborating with software engineering teams in an Agile environment on code review, design process and product development Working closely with product management to enhance new releases Coordinating deployment strategy and system changes, participating in timeline planning and release schedules Do what you love To be successful in this role you will: Have 1+ years\' software development experience using C++/Python/Golang and Bachelor\'s degree in Computer Science or it\'s equivalent Have Experience/knowledge of one or more of the following clouds - Azure, AWS and GCP Have experience/knowledge in Networking, TCP/IP, HTTP, HTTPs Have experience/knowledge in REST APIs, Database and SQL Be comfortable with working in a Linux/Unix environment Work in a way that works for you FlexBase, Akamai\'s Global Flexible Working Program, is based on the principles that are helping us create the best workplace in the world.
