As an experienced member of our Software Engineering Group, we look first and foremost for people who are passionate around solving business problems through innovation and engineering practices. This role requires a wide variety of strengths and capabilities, including:

• 7+ years of experience in designing and implementing Java and open-source applications
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science/Software Engineering or a related field
• Deeply passionate about learning and innovating using the latest and greatest in Cloud, big data engineering
• Strong software engineering and object-oriented programming skills
• Strong design skills for individual applications (solution architecture) and across applications (enterprise architecture)
• Proficiency in Analysis, Design, Build, and Deployment of Java applications. Experience developing solutions within an Application Container; experience developing Java services; web services is a plus
• Hands on experience writing microservices using Spring Boot
• RESTful API design, microservices architecture expertise
• Understanding of SQL and related development under Oracle
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders
• Familiar with CI/CD and SDLC development tools such as Jenkins, Jira, Git/Stash etc
