Corporate Finance Technology is seeking a Software Engineer/Applications Developer with strong background in Java and J2EE development. In this role the developer will design, develop, and support the application for the Corporate Finance business. The ideal candidate will have good communication skills, possess good problem solving skills, and work well in a team.

Key responsibilities include:
Design, develop enhancements and maintain the application
Contribute in all aspects of application development life cycle (analysis, design, develop, test, deploy, support)
Writing high quality & high performance code with high level of test coverage
Verifies program logic by overseeing the preparation of test data, testing and debugging of programs. Oversees overall systems testing and the migration of platforms and applications to production.
Adhering to Software Development Life-cycle policies, procedures and standards and ensuring applications adhere to all Wells Fargo policies, vulnerability management and technology updates
Improving processes and automating to make them simpler, faster, and more secure
Interact with business teams to review and analyze highly complex business requirements, design and implement solutions that meet the business need
Develops new documentation, departmental technical procedures and user guides and ensure documentation on architecture, processes and systems changes are up to date
Collaborate with other teams & support team members to design, implement and maintain software solutions
Be part of high-performing agile team with ability to flex according to project needs
Continuously learn to improve skills and staying current on technology trends

Required Qualifications
7 years of software engineering experience
6 years of Java experience, Hibernate
. jUnit experience
Oracle database experience
CI CD experience tools: Git; Jenkins; Arifactory; maven/gradle

Desired Qualifications

PL /SQL knowledge
Liquibase experience a plus
An industry-standard technology certification
Experience with angular and type script development
Good knowledge with Pivotal Cloud Foundry and applications
Knowledge and understanding of application analysis and tuning including: memory management, process or thread management, resource management
Knowledge and understanding of application or software security such as: web application penetration testing, secure code review, secure static code analysis
Good knowledge of rule based workflow applications and processes
Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
1 year of financial services experience
Agile experience
Ability to take an active role in the education, mentoring and training of less experienced team members
Strong communication skills and ability to articulate complex material to a diverse audience
