Senior Software Data Engineer Hyderabad, India

• Are you a Java/Data Engineer looking for a new challenge in a company with an amazing culture?

• This role will involve Java coding, interfacing with various other tools and other software.
• Ideally you will have background in a mix of languages and systems and a passion for learning technologies.

Skills and Experience:

• Java functional/ reactive experience
• RESTful API design and development experience/skills
• API First Mindset
• Experience in building Data pipelines using Apache Beam or similar technologies
• Expert understanding of core computer science fundamentals including data structures, algorithms, and concurrent programming
• Expert in analyzing, designing, implementing, and troubleshooting software solutions for highly transactional systems.
• Working knowledge with RDBMS and NoSQL
• Continuous integration and continuous delivery using DevOps tools like Maven, Git, Github actions etc.
• Cloud infrastructure experience in GCP would be preferred but any Cloud experience such as AWS or Azure would be welcomed; or a desire to learn more.
• Exposure to GKE, Firestore, Cloud SQL, Dataflow, BigQuery, Bigtable, Airflow is desirable
• Some familiarity with Python & Node JS would be an add on

• Experience with Agile development methodology.
• Excellent communication and team player with can-do attitude

Responsibilities:-

• Develop and maintain scalable data pipelines, build/manage API integrations to support continuing increase in data volume and complexity.
• Writes unit/integration tests, contributes to engineering documentation, and documents work.
• Performs data analysis required to troubleshoot data related issues and assist in the resolution of data issues.
• Works closely with all business units and engineering teams to develop strategy for long term data platform architecture.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in computer science or related field
• A minimum of 6 years of experience in software design and development
