:CIB Marketing Cloud Java EngineerArchitect, design, and implement cloud-based solutions leveraging Java and backend technologies.Job responsibilities

• Architect, design, and implement cloud-based solutions for the CIB Marketing, leveraging Java and backend technologies.
• Contribute to the development of robust and scalable backend applications using Java and related technologies.
• Implement best practices for coding, testing, and deployment to ensure high-quality software delivery.
• Demonstrate proficiency in cloud platforms (AWS)
• Design and implement cloud-native solutions, ensuring optimal performance, scalability, and reliability.:
• Implement and promote DevOps practices to automate build, deployment, and monitoring processes.
• Collaborate with DevOps and automation teams to streamline the software development lifecycle.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to a team of engineers.
• Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies, incorporating them into the technology roadmap.
• Collaborate effectively with product owners, architects, and other stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Communicate technical concepts and solutions to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

• Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 5+ years applied experience
• Hands-on practical experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and operational stability
• Advanced in one or more programming language(s) viz. Java, AWS, SpringBoot, Micro services
• Proficiency in automation and continuous delivery methods
• Proficient in all aspects of the Software Development Life Cycle
• Advanced understanding of agile methodologies such as CI/CD, Applicant Resiliency, and Security
• Demonstrated proficiency in software applications and technical processes within a technical discipline (e.g., cloud, artificial intelligence, machine learning, mobile, etc.)
• In-depth knowledge of the financial services industry and their IT systems
• Practical cloud native experience

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

• Advanced certifications in cloud platforms and Java technologies.
• Knowledge of financial industry regulations and compliance requirements.
• Experience with microservices architecture and server less computing.
