As a Software Engineer III - Java + Cloud at Data Management Tech team of Commercial Banking at JPMorgan Chase, you serve as a seasoned member of an agile team to design and deliver trusted market-leading technology products in a secure, stable, and scalable way. You are responsible for carrying out critical technology solutions across multiple technical areas within various business functions in support of the firm\'s business objectives. Job Responsibilities Create /enhance applications to support governance process, The current platform uses many technologies including Spring boot, Apache, Spring, Hibernate. Contribute to development activities for public cloud adoption. Contribute on design, development, implementation and post-implementation maintenance and support. Develop and test new interfaces, enhancements/changes to existing platform. Provision services , upgrades and maintaining the same in private and public cloud leveraging CICD pipelines and Terraform Required Qualifications, Capabilities, And Skills Formal training, or certification on software engineering concepts and 3+ years applied experience using open-source java-based frameworks and tools including Spring boot, Apache, Spring, Hibernate, Core Java, J2EE, design patterns, programming, and design technologies. Shows Strong technical design and solutioning capabilities Minimum 5+ years\' experience with Core java with focus on multithreading and data structures, REST, Experience in spring framework, spring libraries and annotation, MAVEN, JIRA, GIT, CI tools Minimum 2+ years\' experience with Kafka, Messaging, XML and integration patterns ORM, RDBMS concepts with hands on experience on Maria DB/MySQL or Oracle. Experience with development on cloud - private and public like AWS. On AWS Preferrable more exposure towards ECS + Fargate. Strong knowledge best practices on Infrastructure Provisioning tool for Public Cloud like terraform / any other tools, Resiliency + Cost Optimization on Public Cloud (Preferably in AWS). Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities And Skills Experience with SSO, Entitlements and Session management and communication protocols. Test Driven Development - Junit, Rest assured, selenium etc. Experience with performance tuning profiling complex java application and knowledge of Java memory model Hands on experience in web development experience with focus on rich UI component development, REACT, CSS, JavaScript MVC based frameworks and HTML5 AWS Certification (Developer Associate) completed.
