About this Opportunity: The Development family is responsible for crafting, designing, deploying, and supporting applications, programs, and software solutions. May include research, new development, prototyping, modification, reuse, re-engineering, maintenance, or any other activities related to software products used internally or externally on product platforms supported by the firm. The software development process requires in-depth domain expertise in existing and emerging development methodologies, tools, and programming languages. Software Developers work closely with business partners and / or external clients in defining requirements and implementing solutions. Your Responsibilities: Act as a technical guide on one or more applications utilized by DTCC Work with the Business System Analyst to ensure designs satisfy functional requirements Partner with Infrastructure to identify and deploy efficient hosting environments Tune application performance to eliminate and reduce issues Research and evaluate technical solutions consistent with DTCC technology standards Align risk and control processes into day to day responsibilities to supervise and mitigate risk advances appropriately Apply different software development methodologies dependent on project needs Chip in expertise to the design of components or individual programs, and in the functional testing Support development teams, testing, troubleshooting, and production support Build applications and construct unit test cases that ensure compliance with functional and non-functional requirements Work with peers to mature ways of working, continuous integration, and continuous delivery .Note: Responsibilities of this role are not limited to the details above. Qualifications 4+ years of IT experience. Good development and UT knowledge in developing integration applications using IBM Integration Bus 10 (IIB) Product. Good ESQL, JCN (IBM Java MQ API) and Mapping node development knowledge. Knowledge on packaging and deployment into different lower environment. Functional and Performance testing support capability. Nice to have worked Agile based SDLC. (User knowledge of JIRA, Bitbucket(GIT), Jenkins). Soft Skills Good communication skill. Updating the JIRA Story card regularly Updating the status in Stand up every day. Self-responsibility on work load management, testing support and other environment related issues. MS Excel knowledge to update the UT documentation.
